On Tuesday, July 14 at 730 a.m., Mickey Dyke will lead a bird walk at Mountain Park in Tehachapi. We will meet at the entrance. It is rumored that Bob Barnes will be there too.

Mickey has been birding since 2016. Kern Audubon was the first Audubon that she joined. Mickey lives in Rosamond and has led bird walks for Antelope Valley Audubon.

Tehachapi Mountain park is a great place to bird in the summer. There are two water sources in the park. Many birds nest in the park. Swallows, woodpeckers, bluebirds, quail and nuthatches are just a few.
