Sponsor a Bird Sign at Hart Park – Leave a Lasting Legacy
Kern Audubon Society is excited to launch a new educational signage project at Hart Memorial Park—and you can be part of it!
We’re installing beautiful, permanent bird signs throughout the park to help visitors learn about the local bird species that call this habitat home. Each sign will feature a bird’s photo, its name, interesting facts and a personal dedication from the sponsor.
Sponsor a Sign – Choose Your Bird
For a $400 donation, you can select a bird from our list of 18 local species. Add your personal dedication and even contribute some of your own fun facts about the bird. Signs are 18″ wide by 24″ tall—designed to be both educational and enduring.
Birds will be reserved on a first pay, first choice basis, so don’t delay if you have a favorite!
Want to Contribute, But Not the Full Amount?
You can also support a Community Bird Sign by donating any amount. Once we reach $400, we’ll create a sign on behalf of all contributors.
These signs are a meaningful way to support environmental education, honor someone special, and highlight the incredible birdlife right here in Kern County.
